Financial Aid 2027–2028 School Year

Academy Schools is committed to providing access to students from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Academy Schools offers tuition assistance for students on the basis of family need as assessed by the FACTS Grant & Aid system. While FACTS Grant & Aid provides the school an analysis of each family’s financial need, the school determines which families will receive tuition assistance.

Tuition assistance is available on a limited basis. Children who receive tuition assistance must maintain an academic effort commensurate with their basic abilities and comply with the guidelines detailed in the Parent/Student Handbook. If you are in need of any financial assistance, we encourage you to apply for financial aid, as detailed below. Tuition assistance applications must be resubmitted every year.

Family Commitments

Creating a safe and welcoming space is our number one priority to support both students and their families. We work hard to create a culture that fosters community and invites students to be daring and engaged, but we can’t do it alone. In addition to tuition costs, we ask all families support our community by way of fundraising, mandatory volunteer service, and participating in community building events. Your contributions help Academy Schools maintain academic excellence and build a true sense of community for both students and their families.

Community Building

We ask that all families attend as many school-hosted events as they are able. By attending school events, we create a safe space for our students to deepen their friendships and allow families to connect with and support other neurodiverse families.

Fundraising

Fundraising is a vital component of independent schools. Financial support for Academy Schools comes from tuition, our annual auction, and the annual fund. Families are expected to contribute to both the auction and annual fund to the best of their ability.

In a healthy, supportive climate, students are engaged and take intellectual risks.

Mandatory Volunteer Service Commitment

Academy Schools requires an annual 15 hours per family of volunteer service. Your expertise, time, and resources are investments in our students. Only through the active volunteer support and financial commitment of our families can the school sustain its educational excellence. Unserved service hours will be billed for the remaining hours at $40.00 per hour. An opt-out for your service is offered for a $1,000 fee. Learn more about volunteer roles and log your volunteer hours here.
