Academy Schools Admissions Process
Welcome to Academy Schools Admissions page and thank you for your interest in our school.
If you need more information than is available on our school’s website, please fill out the Contact Us form and our Office Staff will contact you. If you have not already done so, please consider making an appointment to visit. We would very much like to meet you and encourage you to tour our school and campus.
How to Apply
We are excited about the prospect of having your child join our AS Family. Your decision to submit an application for your child is the first step toward unlocking a world of endless possibilities, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Your child’s inclusive education journey starts here.
Please complete one application per child. A $100 non-refundable application fee must accompany this application.

Admissions Checklist
- Online Application: Start your application HERE ($100 non-refundable application fee will apply)
- School Visit: Following review of the Application packet, a student visit will be scheduled. At least 2 full days or multiple ½ days during the regular school year are preferred to acquaint the student with our school and for them to become comfortable. The student comes to school with a pencil, paper, snack and lunch. All visitors will be assigned a ‘buddy’ to help familiarize incoming students with our school and its routine. During the visit, teachers collect observation and/or assessment data, depending on the age of the child.
- Transcripts, Students Records and Referrals: Within the online application, you will find a link to request records from your child’s current school as well as the administrator and teacher’s referrals. This is a required piece of the admissions process for students entering grades 1-12.

- Prekindergarten/Kindergarten full-day – $22,500
- Elementary program (K-5th grade) – $26,220
- Middle School (6th-8th grades) – $28,350
- High School (9th – 12th grades) – $30,180
Family Commitments
Fundraising
Is a necessary component of independent schools. Financial support for the Academy Schools program comes from tuition, the auction, and an annual fund solicitation. Families are expected to contribute to both the auction and annual fund to the best of their ability.
Mandatory volunteer service commitment
The Academy Schools require an annual mandatory 15 hours per family volunteer service. Your expertise, time, and resources are investments in our students. Please get involved in the classroom, and in our school events. Only through the active volunteer support and financial commitment of our families can the school sustain its educational excellence. Unserved service hours will be billed for the remaining hours at $40.00 per hour. An opt-out for your service is offered for a $1,000 fee.
