Academy Schools Student Support
We believe children are best served when the adults supporting them work together. We partner closely with families and collaborate with outside professionals, including ABA providers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other specialists. As an OSPI-approved Nonpublic Agency (NPA), we can also partner with public school districts to serve students whose educational needs require a different environment.
- Partnering with ABA companies for recommendation and inviting your behavioral technicians on campus so students can keep their trusted supports
- Biweekly meetings between our Head of School, Director of Special Education, and BCBAs supporting our students
- Offering on campus sensory tools and spaces
- Integrating emotional intelligence and executive functioning skills into academic curricula
- Monthly field trips to practice navigating new spaces and social situations
Please note: Academy Schools does not staff ABA, OT, PT, or SLP therapies, rather, we partner between families and your chosen company. Companies are paid through family’s private insurance, school districts, or out of pocket.
